No Sugar Added

"You never know what you'll find on ebay these days!" Chris said. He came across a 50- to 60-foot-tall sugar maple tree for sale on the global commerce website. He made his inquiries about the tree, drove to Pennsylvania, looked it over and bought it. This collector's bowl was made from that tree.

Hey Mikey, He Likes It

Chris was alerted to the existence of the tree that this red maple burl bowl was made from when a neighbor's son said he had seen it on a nearby street. He said it "looked like someone had stuck watermelons all over it."

Malcolm's Cherry

"One of my friends wanted to clear all the scrub trees off his lot. He asked if I had interest in any of the trees," Chris said. "In the middle of the growth was the biggest cherry tree I had ever seen in my life! It was 80 feet tall and forty feet from the ground to the first branch."
